For more practical volunteer activities for local societies, the officers and staff of STX Engine organized a voluntary service group. From 2005 they perform voluntary services at major welfare facilities in Gyeongnam region, and clean-up the neighboring mountains and streams regularly.
Currently, 17 volunteer groups of STX Engine are practicing voluntary services to help the livelihood of the low income bracket in local communities and improve living environment. In addition, in order to activate in-company voluntary activities, the company actively supports voluntary groups by providing education regularly and helping voluntary activities, and through this, it is motivating its officers and staff.
STX Engine will henceforth establish a medium- and long-term strategy for social contribution activities and develop focused projects which correspond to its characteristics in order to actively practice shared management that develops together with local communities.
