Introduction to Products

A high speed engine power plant, which applies the system engineering technology accumulated for more than 30 years and diesel engines of domestic and overseas engine makers, is supplied as an emergency power supply for various industrial facilities as well as commercial and residential areas including power plants, oil refineries, office buildings, apartment houses, etc. Recently, 10~20MW class black start diesel generators (BSDGs) are supplied which are essential for restarting the gas turbine power plant during large scale blackout.

Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG)
An emergency diesel generator (EDG) is supplied mainly to power plants, oil refineries, hospitals, Internet data centers (IDC), office buildings, apartment houses, etc. STX Engine is supplying reliable products designed with accumulated design capability.
Black Start Diesel Generator (BSDG)
A black start diesel engine generator (BSDG) is essential in order to start a gas turbine generator during a large scale blackout. Over the past 10 years, the demand on BSDGs are increasing overseas.
Mainly, a high speed engine is applied to its design. However, if requested by a customer, it is possible to apply a medium speed engine, providing customers with various options.
